I have read all of the questions and asked different websites related to the same situation i have. I have tried to consult my user manual and the store that gave me the phone. I have tried just about everything. “I STILL cant take videos from my phone and transfer them onto my computer (using the connection cable) and it will not let me e-mail them because it says the file is too large, I cant even send video messages, i tried a one second video just for the sake of argument and it once again told me that the file is too large.” I am at a loss of what to do and the phone is supposed to be top notch technology. Sorry, Not upset about the phone or anyone else, I would just like if someone has some VALUABLE information. PLEASE!

So…tuesday or wednesday of last week my ipod fell in water. I made the HUGE mistake of turning it on immediately. my ipod got burning hot and when i put my ear to it, it sounded like something was frying. So i read that you could let it sit in rice for a few days to dry it out and then it might turn on…and i also tried sitting it on top of the dryer to give it heat and to dry it…it is completely dry and it still will not turn on. so i’m not sure if it is completely dead or not because i’ve been plugging it up to the wall bcuz i thought that may give it power and it gets warm. I know apple doesnt take water damage products. So my question is…is there still hope that it will turn on since it at least warms up when i plug it into the wall. and i heard you can put white out inside the headphone hole so they wont detect water damage and they will send me a new one but i dont really want to do that. HELP PLEASE

I am a little over the top when it comes to technology. Recenty I started looking at GPS units and now I’m baffled, so I’m asking your advice please

I would like a farely inexpensice GPS unit that gets the job done. I just bought the Garmin Nuvi 775t and quickly decided that it was a waste of money. The GPS portion is awesome, quickly finds routes and quickly redirects me when I’m lost. Here is why I think its a waste though:

MSN Direct: Hmm doesn’t work in my area (only 2 areas in Virginia are available)

Bluetooth: I have a jawbone and a convertible. I don’t think the GPS hands free is going to work with the top down, the jawbone does

Picture Viewer: Why?

MP3: Not that convenient for me. I have an ipod so that does the trick. The MP3 is nice, isn’t very good for sorting music, playlists etc.

***So I’m back on the path of finding a GPS that is right for me. I thought about going very basic and getting the Garmin 205 (or whatever model it is) then I started seeing the Nulink and Go Live series of Garmin and TomTom. Sure not everyone needs that much info at their finger tips but I have come across situations when I wish I did (ex. gas prices, area searches etc). I know you can download POI and such but you can bet when I’m in some off the path area I will not have what I want and have no clue whats in the area.

What I would like is a good GPS (fast route search, turn around times etc) that is accurate and easy to use. I do love the speed indicator on the Garmin, I use that more than the cars speedometer. I would like to be able to add POI and have multiple stops on a trip or be able to go off route with the GPS still functional.Lane assist would be nice but not a deal breaker.

Any thoughts or suggests? Should I just hire a personal assistant to search everything I want? LOL
